Music and Arts Scholarship
We strongly believe that music and arts scholarships will definitely help the under-privileged youths socially, culturally and educationally. Young people should be rewarded for exceeding academically and showing that they have the perseverance to make it through higher education and the yearning to do more with their lives. By giving student interested in music or art a scholarship, it will show them that whoever is providing the scholarship or nominated them has as much confidence in them as they have in themselves; boosting their confidence and affirming their purpose to dedicate their lives to music or the arts.
Hope For a New Generation provides three scholarships per year to students majoring in each of the three applied areas of the performing arts: Music, Art and Theatre. Scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors or first year college students who intend to make music or other fine arts a central part of their future life. Recipients must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA and must retain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA for renewal. Renewal also is contingent upon the continued availability of funds.
